Production Associate

include, but not limited to: Assemble, inspect, and prepare electrical panels/circuit boards per related documentation and drawings. Set-up & test units per procedures using correct equipment Trim and form leaded parts. Hand solder and hand-clean circuit boards as needed and visually inspect and solder touch-up of solder defects. Package final product. Identify electronic components (polarity, incorrect part, etc.) Repair hardware and/or components on circuit boards due to wave solder machine and/or washing process. Keep workstation clean at all times and assist with overall area clean up. Identify proper equipment to be used and properly fill out production documentation. Push, pull, lift and carry assembly parts from floor height to shoulder height 40 lbs. Move electrical panels/circuit boards, compounds, and materials within cell area. Use of non-automated equipment when necessary (DMM, Oscilloscope, etc.) Notify Cell Lead or Test Technician of non-conforming units or test fixtures Rotate to different work stations & different cells as needed Other duties as assigned by the Cell Team Leader. QUALIFICATIONS: High school education or equivalent Prior experience working with or testing PCB’s preferred SKILLS REQUIRED: Ability to read procedure manuals and understand assembly documents written in the English language. IPC certification preferred but not required Ability to read & understand test procedures Ability to effectively communicate in the English language with other team members. Computer skills required Works well in team environment Bright, action oriented, and a self-starter. Hand dexterity and hand/eye coordination Knowledge of related tools and equipment and their usage to ensure acceptable forming and lead lengths. WORKING ENVIRONMENT: Physical Demands Lifting up to 25 lbs Mental Demands Focus Ability to adapt to a changing work environment Working Conditions This position works out on the manufacturing floor with exposure to moving equipment. Will be required to wear safety clothing and gears while working.
