Job Title: Restaurant General Manager

Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic, hands-on Restaurant General Manager to lead daily operations at a high-volume, fast-casual restaurant in Bridgewater, NJ. This role is responsible for driving sales, developing a strong leadership team, maintaining operational excellence, and delivering an exceptional guest experience.

The ideal candidate is a motivated leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, builds strong teams, and leads by example on the floor.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Development

• Recruit, hire, train, and develop a high-performing management and hourly team

• Create a positive, accountable, and performance-driven culture

• Coach and mentor Assistant Managers and Shift Leaders

• Manage scheduling, labor deployment, and team productivity

Operations Management

• Oversee all day-to-day restaurant operations

• Ensure food quality, speed of service, and cleanliness standards are consistently met

• Maintain compliance with food safety, sanitation, and company procedures

• Monitor inventory, ordering, and cost controls

Financial Performance

• Drive top-line sales through local marketing and community engagement

• Manage labor and food cost targets

• Analyze P&L statements and implement action plans to improve profitability

• Ensure accurate cash handling and reporting procedures

Guest Experience

• Deliver exceptional hospitality and resolve guest concerns professionally

• Maintain a welcoming, energetic, and clean environment

• Lead from the front by engaging with guests and team members

Qualifications

• 3+ years of restaurant management experience, with at least 1 year at the General Manager level

• Experience in fast-casual or high-volume environments preferred

• Strong leadership and team-building skills

• Proven track record of driving sales and controlling costs

• Excellent communication and organizational abilities

• Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
