Munno Pizzeria & Bistro
Munno is hiring for a Pasta station cook (full time, 37-40 hrs/wk, 5 shifts 2-10 pm). This is a position for a fairly experienced line cook, compensation starts at $24/hr and goes up depending on competence, ability to work as part of the team, attitude and self motivation. There is a bit of prep involved in setting up the station for service and all job candidates need to be able to work through the dinner rush with speed and efficiency while maintaining quality,freshness and consistency. An interest (I won’t say “passion” I hate that ) in homemade, authentic regional Italian cuisine is a big plus, that’s what we’re all about here. There is room to grow with the company as we expand.
We are located in Uptown, open Wednesday through Sunday 5-9. Busy, fast paced at times but a friendly work environment. Chef owned and operated, family business. Michelin Bib gourmand + other awards and recognitions. Upon completion of a full years' employment we cover two weeks paid vacation (40 hrs/week). There is a health plan you can join, we don’t supplement the premiums at this point but the rates are reasonable. It’s through Illinois Blue Cross/Blue Shield PPO.
