Permit Specialist

Permit Specialist Mungo Homes has a new opening for a Permit Specialist in our Wilmington, NC market! This position is responsible for creating all new start packages as well as applying for and obtaining necessary permitting for construction purposes. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (performs other duties as assigned) Create and distribute start packages for all new homes/subdivisions to include: building permits, plat plans, plans marked w/applicable options, selected options detail sheet, cabinet & flooring sheets, flatwork/sod calculation sheet, and community standard features sheet. Request surveyor maps as required. Request permits for new starts; request and submit appropriate fees and pick up permits. Track and respond to permitting issues as required. Maintain house construction files. Travel within the local area as required. Request water and sewer certificates and service Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
