Drives adoption of new technologies and processes (automation, robotics, computer aided manufacturing software, etc.) to achieve greater efficiency, cost reduction and quality improvement. Creates and analyzes 3D based model data environment to optimize manufacturing process and digital work instructions. Leverages understanding of materials and automatic processes to define operations procedures and build sequences to drive operational excellence. Evaluates performance (including IoT devices, etc.) of equipment and tools to verify their efficiency and investigates and initiates corrective action of problems and deficiencies to ensure operational excellence. Leverages factory data to develop statistical process control approaches and integrates reporting and data analytics solutions for continuous improvement. Provides input to product design regarding design concepts and specification requirements to best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques. We provide the resources and give you the flexibility to enable inspiration and focus -if you have the passion and courage to dream big, work hard, and have fun doing what you love then we want to build a better tomorrow with you. #productionengineering#LMSkunkBasic QualificationsBachelor’s degree Experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably in aerospace, defense, or high-tech hardware.Technical lead on design reviews, process improvement initiatives.Understanding of the Systems Engineering V-Model, requirements flow-down, and verification & validation (V&V) processes.Ability to obtain and maintain a secret clearance per business requirements Desired Skills· Familiarity with relevant MIL-STD, AS9100, ISO 9001, and other aerospace/defense standards.· Experience with Interface Control Documents (ICDs), System Architecture, and Trade-Study techniques.· Understanding of configuration management and change-control processes.· Strong written and oral communication skills; ability to produce clear ICDs, test plans, and technical reports.· Experience working in cross-functional teams (systems, test, quality, supply chain).· Knowledge of machining, additive manufacturing, sheet-metal fabrication, welding, and assembly processes.· Ability to translate model data into manufacturing instructions (e-drawings, CNC programs, inspection plans).Pay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $104900.00 - $194700.00At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
