Description Conduct evaluations across pediatric, adult, and geriatric age groups using both standardized assessments and observational methods. Craft individualized treatment plans that focus on both short-term objectives and long-term communication or swallowing needs. Deliver a variety of one-on-one speech therapy interventions aimed at improving communication, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing. Partner with physical and occupational therapists, nurses, and physicians, as well as families, to devise comprehensive care plans. Provide education to patients and families to encourage progress beyond clinical sessions. Participate in occasional inpatient evaluations and interventions to ensure seamless continuity of care. Document findings and progress in a timely and precise manner, adhering to state, federal, and organizational regulations. Engage in ongoing education and collaborative opportunities to stay abreast of the latest in the field. Education A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet ASHA-certified. Certifications State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist . Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification to be completed within 30 days of hire. Skills A strong command of evidence-based treatment techniques for all demographics, with deep insights into both developmental and acquired speech, language, and swallowing disorders. Exceptional communication skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
