Critical Care Float Registered Nurse (RN) – Travel Assignment

Location: Syracuse, NY
Duration: 13 Weeks

Shift: Days

Requirements:

• Active New York State RN License/Registration
• Current BLS Certification
• Minimum 1.5 years of recent Critical Care experience within the last 2 years in a comparable acute care facility
• Previous Level I or Level II Trauma Center experience required
• Experience with EPIC Electronic Medical Records preferred
• Travelers must have experience in hospitals of equal or greater size and acuity
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care across multiple Critical Care units as assigned
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and continuous monitoring
• Administer medications, treatments, and critical care interventions
• Respond rapidly to changes in patient condition and emergencies
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record
• Adapt quickly to different unit workflows while ensuring quality patient care

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous travel nursing experience
• Strong ICU and trauma care background
• EPIC EMR proficiency
• Excellent critical-thinking and clinical decision-making skills
