Registered Nurse Operating Room

Role Overview As an OR Registered Nurse, you will be an integral part of an interdisciplinary surgical team, providing specialized nursing care across various age groups including adult, pediatric, and geriatric populations. Your responsibilities include preparing for surgeries by ensuring availability of supplies and equipment, assisting with post-procedure cleanup, and setting up for upcoming procedures. You will serve as a resource, teach, supervise, and delegate tasks according to staff competency, with potential rotation to other areas based on demonstrated skills. Qualifications & Skills Current RN licensure in the state or an active multi-state license Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred Minimum of 1 year perioperative (OR) experience ACLS and PALS certifications within 6 months of hire; CNOR preferred Key Duties Prepare for surgeries by verifying supplies and equipment Assist with intra- and post-operative tasks, including room cleanup and setup Educate, supervise, and delegate to team members based on competency Maintain safety and quality standards in the surgical environment #J-18808-Ljbffr
