TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, 52402!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 24 months in Medical Surgical, Stepdown, or Progressive Care License: Active Iowa License or Compact/Multistate License Certifications: BLS from AHA or ARC Must-Have: - Minimum of 24 months of current medical surgical experience - Electronic medical records experience - Experience with specific drips including amiodarone, diltiazem, heparin, dobutamine, and milrinone - Equipment experience with chest tubes, JP drains, 3-way Foley catheters, and NG tubes Description: Quickly interviewing viable candidates. Candidates will work in a surgical specialty unit. Contractors may be required to work 1-2 of 3 upcoming summer holidays, unless the unit is closed. Patient types include all surgical cases except orthopedic and spine. Day shift patient ratios are 1:4 or 1:5. Night shift patient ratios are 1:5 or 1:6. The bed size for the unit is 46. Scrubs must be in black or blue. Travelers may be required to float across medical surgical units. Professional references from a charge nurse, supervisor, nurse manager, director, or similar are preferred. A driver's license is required.
