Position Overview EōS Fitness Core Purpose: To create loyal, lifelong fans and exercise practitioners. EōS Fitness is seeking a highly motivated, sales‑driven leader for the role of General Manager. Reporting to the District Sales Manager, the incumbent will be passionate about sales and dedicated to helping members achieve their health and wellness goals. The General Manager will improve sales, streamline processes, and cultivate a team of leaders who deliver an exceptional customer experience and meet business objectives. Responsibilities Hire, train, schedule, and supervise staff, including Assistant General Managers and Fitness Consultants. Communicate goals, expectations, and procedures to staff, ensuring clarity of roles and responsibilities. Set and achieve membership and revenue goals, track KPIs, and develop strategies to increase retention and new sign‑ups. Provide constructive feedback to staff on performance, highlighting strengths and improvement areas. Ensure high‑quality customer service by addressing member concerns, managing inquiries, and resolving issues promptly. Engage with members in a friendly and approachable manner, actively listening to their needs and concerns. Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations, certifications, and safety protocols. Supervise facility maintenance and cleanliness, covering equipment, locker rooms, and common areas. In emergencies or disruptions, communicate calmly and clearly with staff and members to ensure safety and well‑being. Qualifications & Requirements 2 years of sales management experience. 3–4 years of customer service experience. Prior experience or strong interest in the fitness industry. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent relationship building and influencing skills with people at all levels. Strong attention to detail, systematic problem‑solving, and good time‑management, organizational, and record‑keeping skills. Alignment with our Core Values. Must successfully pass a background check. CPR certification required within 30 days of hire. Ability to work in a gym setting, move about club floors and rooms, and communicate with employees, members, and the public. Ability to access and operate the company computer system, including preparing documents, entering data, and reading reports. Ability to bend routinely and repetitively and lift more than 40 lbs.
