Job Overview MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Travel Nurse RN for a Surgical Trauma Intensive Care (STICU) assignment in Nashville, Tennessee. Position Details Specialty: STICU Discipline: RN Start Date: 07/27/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Qualifications Active RN license Degree from an accredited nursing program BLS & ACLS certification At least 18 months of recent experience in an acute care ICU setting Other requirements may be determined by client facility Duties & Responsibilities Manage care of adult patients with life‑threatening problems requiring complex assessment, high‑intensity therapies, and interventions. Provide patient care, education, and support to patients and their families. Ensure proper functioning of life‑support equipment such as ventilators and feeding tubes. Observe patient vital signs for signs of distress. Administer medications, IVs, and insert catheters as needed. Document medication administration meticulously. Assist in emergency nursing procedures necessary for prompt control of changes in patient’s physical condition. Perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation accurately and effectively.
