We’re on the lookout for a passionate and dynamic Sushi Cooks to join our team and to help deliver unforgettable hospitality in a one-of-a-kind setting. What You’ll Do: Maintain food quality and standards ensuring guest satisfaction Maintain standards of safety and sanitation throughout the kitchen Follow recipes in line with SUSHI SAMBA standards Comply with company procedures, recipes and presentation to maximizing productivity and profitability Execute dishes in a timely and efficient manner to meet and exceed guest expectations Liaise with restaurant manager and service staff regarding service issues What We’re Looking For: Previous experience working as a Sushi Cook or higher The ability to maintain and follow recipes, processes and standards The ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently Drive and ambition with a desire to learn and grow within the team Full ownership of your role Possession of valid Food Handler Card Validdocumentation of your right to work in the U.S What We Offer: $25 per hour plus tips The chance to be part of a world-renowned brand’s LA debut Ongoing training and clear opportunities for growth Medical healthcare contributions for eligible employees with the option for employees to include dental and vision insurance 401k retirement plan Long service awards 50% discount when dining at SUSHI SAMBA Holiday parties.
