Direct workplace investigations, complex employee relations matters, and disciplinary actions, exercising independent judgment to resolve high‑risk and sensitive issues. Direct California and federal leave programs, including CFRA, PDL, FMLA, and PFL, and ensure timely, compliant handling of accommodation requests under FEHA and the ADA. Own implementation of required compliance training programs across the workforce, ensuring documentation and completion in accordance with applicable state and federal requirements. Monitor legislative and regulatory developments affecting California and multi‑state employers, and translate changes into updated policy and practice. Ensure HR policies, employee handbooks, and practices comply with applicable federal law and with state and local employment laws in each jurisdiction where the Company operates, including Tennessee, Texas, Illinois, Georgia, and New Jersey, in addition to California. Partner with corporate leadership on workforce planning, compensation benchmarking, and organizational initiatives across all U.S. locations. Perform other duties as assigned by management, provided such duties remain consistent with the exempt nature of this position.
