Registered Nurse (RN) - Cardiac Tele

Cardiac Telemetry / Stepdown RN

Schedule - Nights only 36 hours per week - Weekend requirement: 4 weekends per 4 weeks (flexible)

Assignment Details - Length: 1326 weeks - Orientation: 24 hours

Requirements - Minimum of 2 years on a cardiac floor - Traveler experience required unless candidate has more than 24 months cardiac experience - Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS - Ability to pass EKG testing prior to start - Preferred: arterial line management, wound care/Wound VAC, charge experience

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive care for patients in a cardiac telemetry/stepdown unit

Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry and dysrhythmias

Manage and titrate cardiac drips as prescribed

Provide pre/post cardiac catheterization care and chest tube management

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient care

Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses and treatment plans

Compliance / Notes - Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only) - RTO after booking not allowed; all RTO must be pre-approved
