Step into a rewarding contract opportunity working with a diverse K-12 population as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist in the Asheville, NC area. Your role will include assessing and treating speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders for students, as well as crafting individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each child’s needs. You'll work within a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday.

Key Qualifications:

• Active North Carolina SLP License required
• Clinical Certificate of Competence (SLP-CCC) or eligible for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
• Experience in a school-based or pediatric healthcare setting
• Proficiency with teletherapy platforms preferred
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
• Passion for supporting students across all grades, K-12

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech, language, and hearing assessments
• Develop and implement individualized intervention plans
• Track student progress and maintain thorough documentation
• Participate in IEP meetings, collaborating closely with educators and family members
• Provide teletherapy or onsite therapy services as needed
• Advocate for students’ communication needs within the school community
