Prepress Manager and Specialist

Position: Digital Prepress Manager Specialist with Print Shop Experience Job Description: This full-time position is the accurate delivery of all electronic materials for Prepress and printing, Candidate will be comfortable in a fast paced and evolving in our energetic digital prepress environment, and able to work with other departments to get the paper published, Performs all duties related to color separation, image manipulation, color proof and page assembly in a multi channel high volume production environment, Performance and success are based on compliance with established lead times while maintaining the highest levels of quality and on-time delivery of materials. Ensure that the proper format, appearance and layout of text and images are set before the full print run is completed. Require effective communication skills for taking orders from customers, troubleshooting prepress problems as well as addressing Customer Service about clients concerns. Perform maintenance and troubleshooting functions cross department lines and work collaboratively with pre-press, press, and post-press personnel. Prepare sample layouts for approval, using computer software such as Adobe (PDF, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator), Microsoft (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Publisher Qualifications: College degree with at least 2 years of experience in a Pre-Press environment, Expert level proficiency in all matters of PreMedia specific to QuarkXPress, Photoshop, Illustrator, In Design and Acrobat, Must be proficient in knowledge of Prepress Imposition Software and Digital Workflow System, #J-18808-Ljbffr VSEEN
