Job Title: Management Analyst Location: Fairfax, VA 22035 Benefits: Full Time $37 - $56/hr Medical & Dental PTO Overview: We are seeking a detail‑oriented and proactive Management Analyst with 2-4 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting various studies, performing functional and financial analyses, and evaluating systems and initiatives. This role involves strategic planning, developing benchmarks, and supporting the County’s Security Awareness initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Studies and Analysis: Conduct a variety of studies, including functional and financial analysis, to evaluate systems and initiatives related to operations and procedures. Strategic Planning: Participate in strategic planning activities, including the development of benchmarks, metrics, and research on emerging technologies. Performance Measures: Develop and implement performance measures to assess effectiveness and efficiency of systems and processes. Economic Analysis: Perform economic analysis such as return on investment (ROI) and cost-benefit analysis to inform decision-making and optimize resource allocation. Benchmark Studies: Conduct benchmark studies to compare performance against industry standards and best practices. IT Architecture Planning: Collaborate with County staff in strategic information technology architecture planning and design to ensure alignment with organizational goals. Security Awareness: Support and coordinate the County’s Security Awareness initiatives, including the development and implementation of security protocols and training. Qualifications: Experience: 2-4 years of experience as a Management Analyst or in a similar analytical role. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field. Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct detailed functional and financial analyses. Experience in strategic planning and developing performance metrics and benchmarks. Proficiency in economic analysis, including ROI and cost-benefit analysis. Knowledge of emerging technologies and their potential impact on operations and procedures. Familiarity with IT architecture planning and design principles. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with County staff and other stakeholders. Ability to support and coordinate security awareness initiatives. Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
