Quality Manager

We’re looking for a hands‑on Quality leader to own and drive plant‑level quality performance, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement. This is a high‑visibility role with full responsibility for the Quality Management System and team leadership. What You Will Do Lead site Quality strategy in partnership with plant leadership Act as the primary customer quality interface, ensuring expectations are met Own problem resolution (internal & external) using 8D and structured methods Drive customer scorecard performance and corrective actions Lead and develop the Quality team (daily operations, staffing, budget) Oversee Quality Systems (IATF 16949, ISO 9001) and ensure compliance Support new product launches (APQP, PPAP) with customers and suppliers Lead audits (internal, customer, regulatory) Analyze quality metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives Approve key quality documentation (Control Plans, SWIs, deviations) Ensure production readiness, validation, and error‑proofing (Poka‑Yoke) Own containment actions and ensure proper execution and closure Maintain authority to stop production for quality, safety, or risk issues What You Will Need Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a technical field 7+ years in Quality within manufacturing 5+ years of leadership experience Strong knowledge of IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 (Lead Auditor preferred) Expertise in core tools: APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC, GD&T Advanced problem‑solving skills (8D, 5 Why, Fishbone, etc.) Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills Excellent Salary, bonus structure.
