Litigation Paralegal

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Litigation paralegal with a minimum of 3 years' experience to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting attorneys with various legal tasks related to litigation, ensuring that all documentation is accurate and well-organized. This position requires a strong understanding of legal processes and the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously in a fast-paced practice.

Responsibilities

Continuous review and management of case files from inception through mediation/arbitration/trial/settlement.
Calendar deadlines and monitor for responses and timeliness.
Prepare initial discovery, i.e., interrogatories, request for production, request for admissions. Draft pleadings, subpoenas, discovery requests and responses, correspondence and other legal documents.
E-File all court documents in both NC & SC State as well as Federal court.
Review, organize, and summarize reports and other case materials.
Ability to properly capture time and bill according to guidelines.
Prepare exhibits and other demonstrative evidence for use at trial.
