Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a Pediatric Primary Care Physician - Developmental and Behavioral to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/Metropolitan . Opportunity Details:

• Provide evaluations, counseling, and treatment for children, adolescents, and their families with a wide range of developmental and behavioral difficulties including dyslexia, writing difficulties, math disorders, and other school-related learning problems.
• Conduct relevant physical, developmental, and emotional-behavioral evaluations of children/adolescents between the ages of Newborn and 21 years of age.
• Conduct specialty assessments as needed (e.g. - genetic dysmorphology, motor functioning, feeding/diet, and sleep).
• Meet with the leaders of the child and adolescent behavioral health team to discuss complex cases and assist in the development of specialized assessment and treatment programs.
• Work with schools, preschools, and other agencies involved with developmental care and education to advocate for patients.
• Provide standardized diagnostic assessments for autism and specialty assessments for ADHD and anxiety.
• Provide direct education to residents, medical students, allied health providers, and junior members of the medical staff.

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics.
• Active or Eligible for a New York State Medical License.

Wages and Benefits include:

Annual Base Salary: $236,000* (board eligible); $241,000* (board certified) based on 40-hour work week. Additional compensation available for extra call or sessional/per diem hours.

The annual total value of the compensation package is estimated at $355,120** (board eligible) and $360,620** (board certified) , which includes the baseline salary, 401 (k) contribution, sessional/per diem hours, and other factors as set forth below:

• Estimated annual compensation for 10 additional sessional/per diem hours worked per week is $55,520.
• Projected bonus of up to $40,000 (based on previous year's average), contingent upon meeting quality and productivity targets.
• 401(k) Company Contribution (subject to IRS contribution limits):
  • Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
  • After one year of service, employees receive an additional 7% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
• Annual Continuing Medical Education (CME) Reimbursement.
