Food Preparation Worker
$23 per hourManpower
Our client, a leading grocery retail organization, is seeking a Food Preparation Worker to join their team. As a Food Preparation Worker, you will be part of the Food Service Department supporting the Fruit Section. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Food Preparation Worker
Location: Salem, OR
Pay Range: $23
Position Type: 3-Month Contract with potential for Conversion to Permanent
Shift: 7:00am to 4:00pm, Friday through Tuesday
What's the Job?
- Pre-cutting fresh fruit for store display and sale
- Handling and preparing food items according to safety standards
- Packaging fruit into containers for easy customer access
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the work area
- Following all food safety and handling procedures
What's Needed?
- Food Handlers Card (can be obtained online quickly)
- HS Diploma/GED Completion
- No prior experience required
- Ability to work early mornings and weekends
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
- Reliable and punctual work ethic
