Mechanical Project Manager

Collett Mechanical, Inc. is a union mechanical contractor based in Latham, NY, near Albany, offering convenient access to major transportation hubs. The company specializes in designing and installing heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and plumbing systems for commercial and industrial projects, including educational facilities, campus housing, medical offices, nanotechnology facilities, and hospitality venues. Collett Mechanical handles both competitive bid and design/build projects, serving the Hudson Valley region of upstate New York from Saratoga County to Sullivan County.

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Mechanical Project Manager at our Latham, NY location. The Mechanical Project Manager will oversee project planning and execution, ensure adherence to schedules and budgets, coordinate with clients and contractors, and manage procurement activities. xhyhwjd Responsibilities also include supervising the installation of mechanical systems, providing technical expertise, and maintaining compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.

• Expertise in Building Services and Plumbing for commercial and industrial projects
• Proficiency in Procurement and Budgeting principles and processes
• Strong understanding of Mechanical Engineering concepts and best practices
• Excellent project management, organizational, and communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred
• Previous experience in mechanical contracting or construction project management is highly desirable
• Familiarity with safety regulations and practices in the mechanical contracting industry
