12 HR Machine Cleaner - Nights - $29.39/hour

Job Title N.O. Machine Cleaner (12 HR) Business Unit Sanitation Function Cleans manufacturing equipment, production tools, and floors. Reports To Gary Thomas Hours 5:30 P.M. to 5:30 A.M. (12‑hour shifts) Schedule Normal work schedule is on rotating weeks. Week 1: Sun Off, Mon Work, Tue Work, Wed Off, Thu Off, Fri Work, Sat Work Week 2: Sun Work, Mon Off, Tue Off, Wed Work, Thu Work, Fri Off, Sat Off Working on certain holidays will be required. Responsibilities Use approved detergents and sanitation methods to clean and sanitize processing and packaging equipment. Operate powered cleaning equipment such as lifts, boom lifts, scissor lifts, pressure washers, foam applicators, steamers, compactors, and other manual or non‑mechanized tools. Work at heights of up to 40 feet using lifts or booms. Perform tasks in sub‑zero temperatures (with PPE provided). Work in confined spaces. Learn and follow allergen elimination procedures. Complete tasks outlined in the Master Sanitation Schedule. Maintain general housekeeping standards throughout the facility. Develop working knowledge of all production areas, including Cake, Pastry, and Toast, to support facility needs as required. Work independently with a high level of efficiency. Education High School Diploma or GED preferred but not required. Experience 1‑year production experience in a manufacturing environment preferred but not required. Certifications N/A Work Environment Exposure to moving mechanical parts. Wet and/or humid conditions. High or precarious places. Fumes or airborne particles. Caustic chemicals. Loud noise levels. Compensation and Benefits Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job‑related skills, and relevant education or training.
