Payroll Specialist

Our client is seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to join their growing team. This role offers a hybrid work schedule and the opportunity to manage complex domestic and international payroll operations within a dynamic, global organization. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of payroll experience, strong technical payroll expertise, and a commitment to accuracy, compliance, and continuous process improvement. Key Responsibilities Manage end-to-end payroll processing for U.S. and international employees, ensuring accurate and timely payroll delivery through ADP platforms and global payroll partners. Prepare, analyze, and validate payroll reports on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis, ensuring accuracy and compliance with reporting requirements. Record payroll-related accounting transactions, including journal entries, and perform reconciliations of payroll, benefits, taxes, leave accruals, insurance, and other payroll liability accounts. Maintain payroll records and supporting documentation, ensuring data integrity, audit readiness, and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Administer employee deductions and payroll-related programs, including tax withholdings, garnishments, retirement contributions, flexible spending accounts, and compliance reporting. Review and monitor employee timekeeping records, enforce payroll submission deadlines, and partner with managers to resolve discrepancies in a timely manner. Serve as a primary point of contact for payroll-related inquiries, collaborating with employees, internal stakeholders, ADP, and third-party payroll providers to resolve issues efficiently. Ensure ongoing compliance with federal, state, local, and international payroll regulations while identifying opportunities to enhance payroll processes, controls, and reporting capabilities. Qualifications 4+ years of payroll processing experience, preferably supporting multi-state and/or international payrolls. Experience with ADP. Strong understanding of payroll accounting, reconciliations, tax regulations, and payroll compliance requirements. Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple deadlines. Strong communication skills and a customer-service-oriented approach. Why Join?
