Seasonal Sanitation Technician

Shift and Pay You will work the midnight shift from 10:00PM to 6:00AM. The hourly rate is $19.15 plus a $0.40 shift differential. Location Conagra Brands, Imlay City, Michigan facility – the home of the Vlasic brand. About the Role Seasonal, midnight shift position at a unionized facility. The season runs from April to December. You will report to the Sanitation Crew Lead and the Team Lead, and you will work in a wet environment with appropriate protective gear. Responsibilities Ensure the industrial cleaning of production areas and maintain sanitary conditions in accordance with quality standards. Essential Duties Sanitize assigned areas following company quality standards. Operate and maintain required machinery and equipment. Disassemble, clean, and reassemble machinery while observing safety and quality cleaning standards. Follow standard work instructions and good manufacturing practices (GMPs). Demonstrate willingness to take on job tasks and remain productive. Train employees according to established standards. Perform Lock Out/Tag Out procedures. Obtain required chemical training. Support the quality and environmental mission and goals. Identify and report foreign or defective materials or products. Document quality checks specific to the operation. Report to management any conditions or practices that may adversely affect food safety, food quality or personnel safety. Inspect workstations to ensure all equipment is in safe working condition.
