Summary
- Own the end-to-end processing, settlement, and reconciliation of trades across multiple asset classes-making sure every transaction lands accurately, on time, and in line with regulatory and operational standards.
- In this role, you'll sit at the center of the Operations ecosystem, partnering with internal teams and external counterparties to keep trade flows moving and issues resolved quickly.
- Validate, process, and settle trades in internal systems across derivatives and other financial products.
- Monitor trade confirmations, allocations, and settlement status; investigate exceptions and drive break resolution through to closure.
- Reconcile trade activity with custodians, brokers, and counterparties, ensuring records match and risks are surfaced early.
- Partner closely with Front Office, Middle Office, and external parties to troubleshoot failed settlements and reduce recurring issues.
- Maintain accurate transaction records and support reporting for audits, controls testing, and compliance requests.
- Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, strengthen controls, and enhance systems to improve speed, accuracy, and scalability.
- Experience in trade operations, settlements, or middle office functions.
- Solid understanding of the trade lifecycle, financial instruments, and post-trade processes.
- Familiarity with industry platforms such as DTCC, Bloomberg, and/or SWIFT (or similar).
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to prioritize in a deadline-driven environment.
- Analytical, proactive problem-solver with strong communication skills across teams and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Excel and comfort working across financial software platforms.
- Curiosity to expand your knowledge across multiple asset classes.
