Paris Corporation is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented HR Coordinator to support the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources department. This role serves as a key administrative and project support resource, assisting with recruiting, onboarding, employee relations administration, training coordination, benefits administration, compliance activities, safety initiatives, audit preparation, employee engagement programs, and HR reporting.

The ideal candidate possesses exceptional organizational and communication skills, is proficient in Microsoft Office applications, and can effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This individual enjoys coordinating projects and events, supporting company initiatives, and contributing to a positive employee experience.

Requirements:
  • Maintain employee records and HR documentation within the HRIS system while ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Process personnel transactions including new hires, status changes, promotions, transfers, and terminations.
  • Assist with benefits administration, employee communications, and responding to employee questions regarding company policies and programs.
  • Coordinate recruiting activities including job postings, candidate communications, interview scheduling, and career fair participation.
  • Assist with onboarding activities, new hire orientation, and the preparation of onboarding materials and training schedules.
  • Coordinate employee training programs and maintain training records, certifications, and compliance documentation.
  • Assist in preparing documentation and records for social compliance, safety, and regulatory audits.
  • Support policy administration, record retention, and compliance initiatives.
  • Participate as a member of the Safety Committee by assisting with meeting coordination, documentation, safety initiatives, and follow-up activities.
  • Develop and maintain HR reports, dashboards, and workforce metrics related to recruiting, turnover, attendance, training, and employee engagement.
  • Utilize advanced Excel skills to analyze data, create reports, and provide meaningful insights to support business decisions.
  • Create professional presentations, reports, and communications using PowerPoint for employee meetings and company initiatives.
  • Coordinate employee recognition programs, company events, training sessions, employee appreciation activities, and other engagement initiatives.
  • Assist with internal communications and programs that promote employee engagement and a positive workplace culture.
  • Support special projects and continuous improvement initiatives within the Human Resources department.
  • Serve as a professional and responsive resource for employees, managers, and external partners while providing excellent customer service.
  • Serve as a backup to the HR Manager to run payroll as needed
  • Act as and administer executive duties for the CEO and COO as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

Your Background:

  • Associate's degree in HR or business administration, or a related field preferred
  • 2-5 years of human resources, administrative, or coordinator experience required
  • Experience in a manufacturing, distribution, or industrial environment preferred
  • Experience with HRIS systems; Paylocity experience preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong prioritization and follow-up skills
  • Demonstrated multitasking and project management skills
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization
