Details for Office Clerk position:

• Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire

• $17/hr to $17/hr

Job Duties for Office Clerk:

• Answer phones professionally and assist customers, drivers, vendors, and other callers

• Provide administrative support to plant operations, shipping, and sales

• Enter and maintain quotations, orders, shipments, invoices, receipts, transfers, purchase orders, and other information in the ERP system

• Prepare bills of lading, packing slips, purchase orders, and other shipping or receiving documents

• Assist with shipment scheduling, customer pickups, deliveries, and intercompany transfers

• Maintain trucking, and shipping information and communicate with yard personnel and drivers by phone or radio

• Use Excel, Outlook, and other business applications to enter, organize, review, and communicate information

• Assist with invoicing, accounts payable/receivable, purchasing, returns, UPS shipments, filing, and other office duties

• Cross train in office functions and provide coverage as needed

• Follow all policies and safety procedures in place

• Complete any other related tasks as needed

Qualifications for Office Clerk:

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Excellent verbal, written, customer service, and telephone communication skills

• Strong computer skills and ability to learn new software systems quickly

• Comfortable working extensively in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel

• Strong attention to detail and accurate data-entry skills

• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities

• Professional, dependable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team

• Previous office, administrative, shipping, logistics, or related experience required

• ERP, Excel, manufacturing-office, shipping, A/P, A/R, purchasing, or invoice experience preferred

• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs

• Ability to stoop, bend, squat, kneel, twist, walk and reach
