Travel Cath Lab (RN) in Garland, TX

An opportunity is available for a skilled Registered Nurse experienced in the Cath Lab. This contract role calls for a dedicated and knowledgeable RN to assist with cardiovascular procedures, patient assessment, and post-procedural care in a dynamic clinical environment.


Qualifications:

• Active, unencumbered RN license
• Experience working in a Cardiac Catheterization Lab
• Proficient in assisting with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures
• Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
• ACLS and BLS certification required
• Excellent communication and patient interaction abilities

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and monitor patients during cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures
• Administer medications and provide conscious sedation under protocol
• Collaborate closely with physicians, technicians, and other healthcare professionals
• Maintain accurate documentation before, during, and after procedures
• Ensure all equipment is properly set up, maintained, and sterilized
• Monitor patient status and respond efficiently to complications or emergencies
• Provide post-procedural instructions and education to patients and families
