Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mental health status and emotional well-being.
• Develop, implement, and modify personalized treatment plans that align with each client's unique needs and therapeutic goals.
• Utilize various evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness techniques, and psychoeducational sessions.
• Persistently monitor client progress through scheduled sessions, documenting changes and making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary.
• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support to clients facing acute mental health challenges.
• Maintain thorough and confidential electronic health records in compliance with HIPAA and ethical standards, ensuring high-quality documentation of client interactions.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, social workers, and medical professionals, to coordinate comprehensive care.
• Engage in regular professional development activities, including supervision, training, and workshops to stay current on mental health research and best practices.
• Adhere to the ethical standards set forth by the National Association of Social Workers and relevant licensing boards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse range of clients experiencing various mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and adjustment disorders. By employing a trauma-informed approach, you will foster a safe and welcoming space for clients from different cultural backgrounds, helping them to overcome their challenges and achieve their therapeutic goals.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
• Current state licensure as a Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LMHC, LCSW).
• Proven expertise in clinical assessment and diagnosis, with strong analytical skills for developing treatment strategies.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective rapport-building with clients.
