Verifying insurance benefits and eligibility for patients, the full-time hourly Benefits Verification Specialist will support admissions and clinical teams by ensuring accurate benefit information and timely communication, working fully remotely from Colorado. Key responsibilities Verify insurance eligibility and behavioral health benefits with various payors Document benefit details and communicate information clearly to staff and patients Maintain accurate records and support admissions and utilization review teams with benefit-related inquiries Required qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred Entry-level role; prior healthcare or insurance experience is a plus Interest in healthcare administration, behavioral health, or revenue cycle operations Basic knowledge of insurance terminology preferred Comfortable using computers and learning new systems
