Job Details Job Location: Silverton Casino LLC - Las Vegas, NV 89139 Position Type: Seasonal Overview The Pool Bartender will be responsible for providing efficient, fast, and reliable service to our guests while ensuring their satisfaction and enjoyment. The Pool Bartender will work independently and under the direction of the Bar Manager to mix, pour, and serve various alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to our guests throughout the pool area. Principal Responsibilities and Duties Be knowledgeable of menu items, liquor brands, beers, and non‑alcoholic beverages, and maintain the appearance of the bar. Set the stage for guest experience with a welcoming smile and service. Create and serve alcoholic and non‑alcoholic beverages, incorporating ingredients according to standardized recipes and providing food service as needed. Clean equipment, tools, and supplies and ensure equipment is in good working order, including cleanliness, sanitation, and appearance of the bar. Ring poured or served beverages, collect payment, and adhere to all cash handling and variance procedures, including preparing daily reports and submitting appropriate paperwork. Provide Apprentice Bartender and Bar Porter with training and mentoring on the overall performance of the bar, guest service, and bartending. Maintain bar inventory according to set parameters and internal controls, and request product to maintain stock in bar. Other duties as assigned. Maintain a positive and professional demeanor during all interactions with guests, colleagues, and vendors. Accept performance feedback efficiently. Maintain regular attendance on all scheduled shifts (essential). Arrive on time for all scheduled shifts (essential). Qualifications, Skills, Education & Other Requirements A high school diploma or equivalent. Certification from a bartending program is a plus. 2+ years of bartending experience, preferably in a high‑volume pool bar environment. Strong knowledge of mixology, wine, beer, and spirits. Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment. Great customer service skills. Ability to communicate effectively with customers and co‑workers. Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift to 25 lbs. Required Work Cards Identification that establishes identity. Identification that establishes the right to work in the United States.
