Work Environment

This role offers an onsite work setting at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility. The work hours are from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, which allows for a healthy work-life balance. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to determine the extent of their orthopedic conditions and rehabilitation needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that may include therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and other modalities aimed at reducing pain and improving functional mobility.
• Provide post-operative rehabilitation care, facilitating a safe and effective transition for patients returning to their daily activities.
• Educate patients and their families on injury prevention strategies and proper body mechanics.
• Document all patient assessments, progress notes, and treatment plans per healthcare regulations and organizational standards.
• Work closely with physicians, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care and optimal patient outcomes.
• Stay informed about the latest advances in orthopedic therapies to continually enhance treatment effectiveness.

Patient Population / Client Focus

At our facility, you will work primarily with adults recovering from orthopedic surgeries, those suffering from chronic musculoskeletal conditions, and athletes looking to rehabilitate after injuries. Our patient-focused approach encourages active participation from patients in their recovery journey, promoting their independence and overall well-being.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Licensure: An active Physical Therapist license in the state of California is required.
• Continuing education and professional development are encouraged and supported.
• Certifications: CPR and First Aid certification are necessary.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in orthopedic or musculoskeletal rehabilitation is preferred, showcasing a strong foundation in patient care and treatment methodologies.

Compensation and Benefits
