Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive and compliant clinical care that aligns with the best practices and standards set by professional physical therapy organizations.
• Collaborate with medical staff and other team members to design and implement tailored rehabilitation plans to address individual needs.
• Engage in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss progress, adjust treatment protocols, and ensure continuity of care.
• Participate in mentoring programs to educate and guide students and fellow professionals, fostering a culture of learning within the department.
• Contribute to department initiatives aimed at performance improvement and the development of innovative care protocols.
• Stay current with industry trends, coding practices, and compliant documentation standards to ensure effective revenue cycle management.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will focus on a diverse patient population primarily consisting of individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries or surgeries. Our patient demographics include both pediatrics and adults, many of whom are looking to regain mobility, strength, and overall function. Understanding and addressing the unique needs of each patient, including their family dynamics, is essential for promoting efficient rehabilitation.

Qualifications

• A valid and current California Physical Therapist License is required.
• Knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and physical therapy methodologies is essential for effective patient care.
• Strong manual therapy skills and a proven passion for helping patients achieve their rehabilitative goals.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to establish trust and rapport with patients and their families.
• The ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team-focused work environment.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly preferred to ensure the ability to adapt to various patient scenarios.
• Experience with pediatric care is a plus, as we serve a range of age groups.
• Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems to document patient care effectively.

Compensation and Benefits
