Our commitment to excellence is reflected in our collaborative approach that includes two seasoned physical therapists and one professional physical therapist assistant (PTA), all dedicated to ensuring optimal patient outcomes.

Work Environment

The ideal candidate will thrive in our onsite rehabilitation facility in Long Beach, where our work schedule is Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM. This position involves direct patient interaction, providing hands-on treatment, and utilizing advanced therapeutic modalities in an environment that emphasizes continued learning and professional development. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify individual patient needs and establish clear treatment objectives.
• Manage a patient case load of one patient per hour, ensuring efficient and personalized care.
• Develop and implement comprehensive care plans that integrate various treatment techniques tailored to the specific requirements of each patient.
• Use evidence-based approaches to provide effective interventions aimed at improving mobility, reducing pain, and enhancing physical function.
• Educate and motivate patients regarding their health and treatment options to empower them in their recovery process.
• Document all assessments, treatments, and patient responses thoroughly and accurately to maintain compliance and facilitate seamless communication among care team members.
• Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals to create a multidisciplinary approach to healing, ensuring holistic patient care.
• Adjust treatment plans as necessary based on patient progress and feedback, demonstrating adaptability and responsiveness to patient needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population primarily consists of individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. Working in tandem with our team, you will provide crucial rehabilitative services that help patients regain strength, flexibility, and functionality. Your expertise will allow you to devise tailored fitness and wellness programs that not only address current limitations but also promote long-term health outcomes.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Certification as a licensed Physical Therapist in the state of California.
• Clean record with no disciplinary actions against your physical therapy license.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and experience in developing successful exercise regimens.
• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software, specifically WebPT, to ensure accurate documentation and efficient workflow.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting, ideally focusing on rehabilitation and functional recovery.
• Background in sports medicine or specialized orthopedic rehabilitation practices.
• Proven ability to engage and motivate patients, guiding them through challenging recovery processes.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
