Work Environment

This position is entirely onsite as the Physical Therapist will conduct evaluations and treatment sessions within the patients' residences throughout Long Beach. The role requires adaptability to various home settings, and you'll work closely with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals to deliver customized care in a safe and supportive environment. The work hours are typically Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced professional and personal lifestyle.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough physical therapy evaluations to assess patients' conditions and capabilities.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans aimed at achieving specific rehabilitation goals.

• Maintain comprehensive and accurate patient records in compliance with both state and federal regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Physical Therapist will primarily work with a diverse population of patients, including seniors recovering from surgery, individuals with chronic pain conditions, stroke survivors, and those requiring rehabilitation due to orthopedic injuries. The goal is to assist each individual in regaining independence and improving their quality of life through customized therapeutic interventions.

Qualifications

• A valid state license as a Physical Therapist (PT) in California.
• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution; a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree is preferred.
• Current CPR certification.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to connect with patients and their families.
• A strong commitment to patient-centered care and evidence-based practice.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position ranges from $100,000 to $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
