Job Description
Exciting Opportunity for Medical Laboratory Scientist in Taylorsville!

Join our dynamic team as a Medical Laboratory Scientist at our Taylorsville Facility! This is your chance to work in a fast-paced environment that plays a critical role in patient care. We are looking for dedicated professionals to fill this 13-week assignment with potential for extension.

Position Details:
- Role: Medical Lab Scientist / Med Tech for Point of Care Testing
- Schedule:
- Saturday: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
- Sunday: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks (26 weeks available if interested)
- Shift Type: 7 on/off, 10 hours per day

Unit Overview:
- Number of Treatment Rooms: 10
- Staffing: 8 Lab Technologists
- Patient Ratios: N/A
- EMR System: EPIC

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily maintenance, quality control, and calibrations on analyzers.
- Perform both waived and non-waived patient testing.
- Process specimens: order tests, centrifuge specimens, and prepare send-outs for transport.
- Maintain lab supplies and ensure routine cleaning of lab surfaces.
- Work collaboratively with clinical staff in the Emergency Department.

Candidate Profile:
- Required Qualifications:
- Certified MLS through ASCP or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years in a Hospital Laboratory environment as MLT or MLS
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with EPIC
- Familiarity with laboratory analyzers listed above
