Overview RN First Assistant - Operating Room at Providence Little Company of Mary Medical Center San Pedro in San Pedro, CA. This position is Full-Time and will work 8-hour, Variable shifts. Provides surgical first assistant, scrub, and/or circulating nurse services in the operating room during surgical procedures, and assists surgical team as needed in any other capacity according to established procedures. Participates in the daily activities of the department as an active team member. Demonstrates proficiency in delivering care to assigned age specific patient population (e.g., infants, adolescents, adults, geriatrics, pediatrics), and participates in related continuing education. Assist the surgical team as needed in other capacities according to established procedures. Participate in the daily activities of the department as an active team member. Demonstrate proficiency in delivering care to the assigned age-specific patient population and participate in related continuing education. Qualifications Coursework/Training: Completion of RNFA course. Upon hire: California Registered Nurse License. Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association. 2 years of experience. Compensation and Benefits Posted are the minimum and maximum wage rates for this position. Placement on the wage range will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
