Position Summary Our team is seeking an experienced Traveling Construction Project Superintendent starting immediately. This position will be responsible for all field operations and management of their assigned project including safety, schedule, manpower, quality and costs from groundbreaking to ribbon cutting while operating within Integrate’s culture and core values. Ideally, this position will be based out of St. Louis area with travel defined as approximately 150 miles one-way travel distance from our home office located in Downtown St. Louis. Responsibilities Responsible for all field operations and construction (Schedule, Manpower, Quality, Safety) Jobsite set-up Establish and maintain project survey controls Four-week look ahead schedule issuance and updates Weekly tool box talks & safety audits Updating of field use and as-built drawings Lost day notifications to PM and Owner Testing / 3rd party report corrections and documentation Scheduling of subcontractors, deliveries, testing firms, permit authorities, etc. Verification of T&M/extra work & authorize additional work Quality reviews Site cleanliness and SWPPP compliance Integrate Construction pre-punchlist generation, scheduling and completion Pre-construction Meetings (Safety, Schedule, Coordination and QC) Double checking for subcontracts and certificates of insurance at start of work for each trade Closeout responsibilities include collection of attic stock and Owner training Warranty call responses Qualifications 5+ years Project Superintendent experience in Commercial Construction General Contractor or Project Manager, preferably on $10-$30 million projects. 10+ years journeyman carpenter experience or a Bachelor’s in Construction Management / Civil Engineering. Willingness to travel to locations throughout the continental U.S., sometimes with short notice. Represent the Company and project teams in a positive manner in all project meetings. Able to meet deadlines on multiple projects under different stages of progress in a positive and productive manner. Excellent oral and written skills required. Excellent computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft office suite programs. All other duties as assigned. Reporting Relationship President Supervisory Responsibility Field labor and subcontractors report directly to this position on a project by project basis. Work Environment This job requires 100% field jobsite presence. Out of town and out of state travel is possible. Physical Demands Physical labor and lifting up to 100 lbs. may be required for this position. Bending, standing, and regularly walking project jobsites is a requirement. Safety must be top priority as this position operates in potentially hazardous conditions. Position Type and Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position. Workdays are predominantly Monday-Friday and hours of work vary depending on project size, location, and work deadlines. Some evening and weekend work may be required. Travel While all superintendents may be locally based in St. Louis, MO, the traveling superintendent may be dispatched for projects regionally and possibly throughout the continental U.S. For projects more than 150 miles from downtown St. Louis, accommodations, per diems, and paid travel home arrangements will be reviewed and agreed to in writing prior to mobilization. Motor Vehicle Check This position may require operation of a company or personal vehicle; a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record are required.
