Adjunct Instructor, Library and Information Science/Data Science/Creative Computing This part‑time adjunct instructor position at the University of Arizona’s College of Information Science involves teaching courses in Library & Information Science, Data Science, and Creative Computing for the Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 semesters, contingent upon funding. Teaching may be delivered in-person, online, or hybrid. Candidates may be considered for a remote assignment anywhere in the U.S. Overtime and hourly rates are subject to state law. Duties & Responsibilities Instruction in the assigned subject area. Planning course delivery, aligning content with the curriculum, and providing feedback on student work. Advising students, holding office hours, and supporting student learning. Assisting with capstone projects or individual student projects through project‑based pedagogy when appropriate. Minimum Qualifications Undergraduate Instruction Master’s degree in a related field. Graduate Instruction Ph.D. in a related field. Minimum of 3 years of professional expertise in the field. Preferred Qualifications Terminal degree in Information Science, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Engineering, Library Science, Media Ecology, Game Media, Gaming Behavior, Game Design & Production, or other related field. Content expertise that aligns with enrollment needs.
