DSV – Global transport and logistics Job Posting Title: Kitting Associate – Shift M-F 6am‑2:30pm Location: USA - Lockbourne, 225 Rathmell Road Division: Solutions Time Type: Full Time Responsibilities Provide and maintain effective material orders, customer service, and inventory management. Load, unload, and perform quality checks on inbound and outbound freight, verifying part numbers, quantities, and condition. Execute daily inventory cycle counts and replenish critical spare parts for the datacenter. Process return shipments of electronic components using multiple warehouse management systems. Place server racks on the datacenter floor using laser measuring devices with 100 % accuracy. Populate electronics and install cabling into server racks following provided diagrams and schematics. Install rack hardware using hand, power, and measuring tools. Operate material‑handling equipment such as straddle stackers, rack movers, and electric pallet jacks. Maintain a clean work area and adhere to safety and 5S standards. Perform physical tasks including pushing, pulling, and lifting throughout the workday. Deliverables & Achievements Daily adherence to safety and process procedures. Punctuality and reliability. Attention to detail and focus on quality. Flexibility to cross‑train in multiple datacenter departments. Qualifications 1‑3 years of related experience with material handling and inventory management. Strong interpersonal and customer‑service skills; ability to forge positive relationships with stakeholders. Knowledge of electrical safety, static‑discharge protocols, and working with live electronic equipment. Proficiency with computers and various warehouse & datacenter systems. Capability to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation. Must pass required background checks, clearances, and drug/alcohol tests.
