Ready to Take the Next Step?Are you an experienced Structural Steel Project Manager looking for more responsibility, exciting projects, and long-term career opportunities?Or perhaps you're a developing Project Manager with a strong structural steel background who's ready to take ownership of larger projects?We're partnering with an established structural steel fabrication company in Atlanta that's looking to hire two Project Managers to support its growing project workload.This is an opportunity to manage structural steel projects from initial handover through fabrication and delivery, working alongside experienced teams and taking real ownership of project performance.If you know structural steel, can read drawings, and enjoy keeping projects moving, we'd love to hear from you.What You'll Be DoingManaging approximately 4-10 structural steel projects at various stages.Taking ownership of project schedules, budgets, and overall delivery.Coordinating with fabrication teams, detailers, general contractors, vendors, and steel erectors.Reviewing drawings, contracts, purchase orders, and project specifications.Managing RFIs, change orders, subcontractors, and project documentation.Coordinating fabrication schedules, material deliveries, and site requirements.Attending project meetings and maintaining strong customer relationships.Monitoring project costs, reviewing invoices, and supporting financial reporting.Visiting project sites occasionally to ensure work is progressing as planned.What We're Looking ForStructural steel project management or relevant steel construction experience.Ideally 3-7+ years of relevant experience, although strong candidates outside this range will be considered.Good understanding of structural steel fabrication and project delivery.Ability to confidently read and interpret construction drawings.Experience managing project schedules, budgets, and multiple stakeholders.Familiarity with Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, Excel, and Word.Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.Ability to work on-site in an Atlanta office Monday through Friday.Coming from a General Contractor background with significant structural steel exposure? We'd still be interested in speaking with you.You don't necessarily need to have held a senior PM title.
