Job Title: Construction Laborer

Job Description

We are seeking motivated construction laborers and concrete cutters to join our team for long-term opportunities. This role is physically demanding and ideal for individuals looking to build a career in the construction industry. While previous construction experience is preferred, we are willing to train the right candidates. Our projects range from residential to large commercial sites, providing diverse and challenging work environments.

Responsibilities

• Operate or learn to operate Wall Saws, Core Drills, Hand Saws, Flat Saws, and other power tools and heavy equipment.
• Perform full building demolitions and renovations.
• Work comfortably in dirty, wet environments with heavy lifting, dust, and debris.
• Maintain and operate equipment with safety and efficiency.
• Comply with all safety policies and procedures.
• Maintain a positive, drug-free work environment.
• Manage workflow to meet changing priorities and complete daily paperwork and vehicle inspection reports.
• Participate in a full day of orientation and safety training on the first day.

Essential Skills

• Experience in general labor or construction.
• Familiarity with hand tools, concrete finishing, saw operation, and drill press.
• Ability to work in physically demanding conditions.
• Mechanical experience is helpful but not required.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• OSHA certifications and MSHAW are a plus, though not required.
• Candidates with backgrounds as farmhands, ex-military, or in demolition are well-suited.
• Must possess steel toe shoes; PPE is provided.

Work Environment

Work involves traveling across the Treasure Valley to various job sites, focusing on concrete cutting and drilling. The role is highly physical and demands comfort in working outdoors in various weather conditions. Typical work shifts start at 6:45 am and conclude when the job is done, often around 4:30 pm, but flexibility is required as some days may extend longer.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Boise, ID.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $26.00/hr.
