Computed Tomography Technologist

Become a vital part of the care team as an experienced Computed Tomography Technologist in Elk Grove Village, IL. You will perform computerized tomographic procedures for diagnosis, prepare and position patients, select technical parameters, prepare and administer contrast media within scope of practice, monitor patients during procedures, and follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines. You will collaborate with radiologists to follow and recommend protocol updates as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Radiologic Technologist credential from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography or Computed Tomography, obtained prior to hire or job transfer date.
• CT specialty certification (ARRT(CT) or NMTCB(CT)) required when specified by employer; one or more of the listed CT credentials required prior to hire or job transfer date.
• Radiologic Technologist credentialed from the Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA) obtained prior to hire or job transfer date.
• BLS Provider certification required within 30 days of hire or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Experience performing CT procedures and administering contrast media per protocols.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Two years of CT technologist experience.
• Completion of a JRCERT-accredited program in Radiologic Technology.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 190003:30.
• Nights shift.
