Role Overview: As our Accounts Specialist, you'll play a key role in keeping our financial processes streamlined and accurate. You’ll manage vendor payments, assist with financial record-keeping, and help ensure our accounting practices comply with current standards. Key Responsibilities: Maintain accurate records of vendor payments and financial obligations. Monitor deadlines for tax obligations and ensure timely payments. Process, record, and verify the accuracy of all invoices. Manage company credit card expenditures and payments. Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reviews. Collaborate with other departments to support accounting audits and compliance. Prepare and send out tax documents efficiently. Research and manage new vendor accounts, ensuring thorough documentation. What You’ll Need: Proven ability to manage details with precision. Familiarity with QuickBooks and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, etc.). Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team. Strong organizational skills and the capacity to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Good communication skills, capable of working effectively with all levels of staff. Analytical and problem-solving skills, with a consistent record of meeting deadlines. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in accounts receivable or a similar role is highly advantageous. A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred. Physical Requirements: This role requires prolonged periods of sitting and frequent use of the computer. Occasionally lifting items weighing up to 15 pounds may be needed.
