Diagnostic Ultrasound Technician
Perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound procedures in a supportive clinical environment. Provide accurate imaging and patient care across multiple specialties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures including abdominal, OB/GYN, vascular, and breast imaging
- Prepare and position patients, ensuring comfort and safety
- Operate ultrasound equipment, adjusting settings for optimal image quality
- Analyze images and provide preliminary findings to physicians
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Follow safety protocols and infection control standards
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to ensure quality care
- Maintain equipment and report any malfunctions
Qualifications:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) certification
- ARRT (Sonography) certification accepted if applicable
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Minimum of 12 years of recent ultrasound experience preferred
