RN - Cardiovascular Unit - Nights

Position: Registered Nurse in a mixed Cardiac/Tele and Neuro/Stroke Unit at a hospital setting. Responsibilities: Provide bedside and virtual nursing care, monitor and communicate patient status, perform medication reconciliation, conduct patient/family education, and document interactions in EPIC. Respond to patients' physical and psychological needs, acting as a resource to bedside RNs, and assist with discharge planning. Qualifications: Current Illinois RN licensure, CPR certification, ACLS and NIHSS certifications within specified timeframes. An Associate Degree or higher in Nursing is required, with a preference for Bachelor's Degree. At least 1 year of inpatient nursing experience is highly preferred. Skills: Knowledge of patient care standards, effective communication, and documentation skills. Key duties: Deliver safe, personalized care, collaborate with healthcare team, and ensure compliance with certification requirements.
