URGENT HIRING: Direct Support Professional (DSP) for Community Engagement

We are urgently hiring  Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to join our Community Engagement team in Newport News, VA. If you’re compassionate, dependable, and ready to make a real difference, we want to meet you  this week !

What You’ll Do:

• Support individuals during community outings, activities, and appointments
• Encourage social interaction, skill-building, and independence
• Provide safe transportation to and from community activities as needed
• Promote choice, dignity, and respect in all interactions
• Follow individualized service plans and safety guidelines
• Accurately document services and participation

What We’re Looking For:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Ability to pass required background checks
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to assist individuals in community settings for extended periods
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to follow care plans and organizational policies

• Caring, patient, and reliable personality
• Experience is preferred but not required (we will train the right candidate )
