Registered Nurse (RN) - GI Lab - $32-48 per hour

Position Registered Nurse (RN) – GI Lab – O'Fallon, Illinois Schedule 8‑hour day shifts 6‑9AM staggered start times 45‑minute call response time; call requirement 30‑40 procedures per day Key Responsibilities Provides direct patient care activities, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within the guidelines of nursing standards. Promotes patient‑ and family‑centered care in a healing environment. Educates patients and families on illness management, post‑treatment home care, and medication administration. Participates in activities that promote patient safety, quality and regulatory compliance. Assists in professional development opportunities. Develops, implements, and documents individualized plans of care with defined goals in collaboration with interprofessional team members, the patient and their family or caregiver. Proactively plans and communicates the plan of care across the continuum of care. Uses critical nursing skills to assess and evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs. Assesses patient preferences, barriers, values, emotional, spiritual, cultural preferences and specific population needs. Maintains a constant state of alertness in a safety‑sensitive environment (essential function). Minimum Qualifications Education: Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree in Nursing. Licensure: Current RN license. Experience: No prior experience required; up to 1 year of nursing experience preferred. No required supervisory or management experience. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Nursing. Less than 2 years of experience. Experience in GI Lab or related clinical area (implied).
