Educates patients and families on illness or injury management, post‑treatment home care, and medication administration. Participates in activities that promote patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. Participates in professional development. Develops, implements, and documents individual plans of care with defined goals in collaboration with the interprofessional team, patient, family, or caregiver. Proactively plans and ensures communication of the plan of care across the continuum of care. Uses critical nursing skills to assess and evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs according to standards of care. Assesses patient preferences and barriers to involvement in care, including values, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and population‑specific needs. Maintains constant alertness and ensures safety as a safety‑sensitive position. Qualifications Education: Nursing Diploma or Associate’s Degree in Nursing (required). Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (preferred). Licenses & Certifications: Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
